Adolphus Hailstork

Adolphus Hailstork received a  Distinguished Alumni Award from the Manhattan School of Music this past October.

Adolphus Hailstork  composed a new choral and orchestral work (THE WORLD CALLED). This work was commissioned by the Oratorical Society of Virginia (Charlottesville) for premiere on May 25, 2018.

Adolphus Hailstork has been commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra for a new work to be premiered  February 17, 2019.

Adolphus Hailstork has been commissioned by the Harlem Chamber Players for a new work to be premiered February  of 2019.

Thomas Wilkins conducted Adolphus Hailstork's AN AMERICAN PORT OF CALL on March 23, 2019.

TWO ROMANCES FOR VIOLA AND ORCHESTRA by Adolphus Hailstork will be performed by the Harlem Chamber Players on May 31, 2019.
